Before the Diadem for Concert Band (Grade 4)
Before the Diadem: A Ceremonial Study in Gold and Breath is about the coronation and celebration of a new dawn of monarchy. This quick fanfare gives a musical interpretation of the entire coronation from church bells ringing, singing trumpets, ceremonial drums, and flourishing woodwinds representing the numerous citizens in the crowd.
