Procession des cathédrales de verre explores the intersection of architecture, light, movement, and sound. Conceived as an abstract procession through a landscape of imagined glass cathedrals, the work juxtaposes monumental sonorities with moments of transparency and delicate resonance.

The musical architecture develops through recurring gestures that are progressively transformed in rhythm, harmony, texture, and orchestration. Layers of sound accumulate and dissolve, creating shifting perspectives between mass and space. Brass and percussion provide much of the work's ceremonial character, while the woodwinds contribute contrasting colors and increasingly intricate layers of texture.

Rather than depicting a literal procession, the work treats procession as a musical principle: an ongoing movement through changing sonic spaces. Harmonic color and instrumental timbre become structural elements, allowing sonorities to function simultaneously as musical gestures and architectural forms.

The result is a work that balances grandeur with fragility, density with transparency, and permanence with motion—inviting both performers and listeners to experience the ensemble as an evolving architectural space.
